Life (August 2009)
Things are less difficult. Working, learning, teaching dance and living life. And still breathing. And here's that poetry
Distance
I have a genuine fear
that if for some reason i was to get too near
that i might bruise my heart on the hard-back bodies around me.
from a distance you're not at all threatening, in fact there's something interesting
about looking at the outlines of your bodies as they pass each other
and then attempting to decipher the beginning of one and the end of another.
But if for some reason I was to get too close, close enough to see an eye.
And not just the general shape, but the white and the colour and down to last the Maybelline lash
or more than the silhouette but each finger and nail. I would be overwhelmed by fear
because goodness knows that there isn't a word that can describe the feeling of a bruised heart.
And the being the tenderoni that I am//become, the unfeeling souls you are are even more hazardous.
See, you plow through life with no caution, no plans, no backups, no condoms, no first aid training and wear sunglasses at night on top of it and could care less if you bump me "by accident".
So I should be nervous of you all, since I never can determine your next move.
Or where you start and where you finish.
So ultimately, my safest bet is to keep a distance.

So, since it's summertime and I promised myself I would fight to enjoy my summer (it was in my facebook status, so it's set in stone) I decided to start reading whatever I got my hands on.
So far, I've read two items from Summer School (both I liked) and embarassingly, Sweet Valley High Saga - The Wakefields of Sweet Valley (stfu, i don't care i love SVH!)
I just finished a book borrowed from a friend, from our friend - Twilight by Stephanie Meyer. It's popular...it's
