I really wish my professors would make shit more interesting. I mean, reading out of the text and teaching material i already know doesn't exactly entice me to go to class. That said, i'm not going tomorrow. I'm sick of sitting for hours on end, not interested or inspired.

lol my profs aren't stupid...just not interesting...i mean...i had 2 teachers in highschool that i loved...those ppl inspired me to do better, and to work hard, and to love what i was learning. why can't all teachers care THAT much.

yeah i completely agree .. i had 2 teachers in high school last year [my 5th year] who were just amazing .. and now i'm in university, it's EASIER than high school, and my profs are just MORONS. it's such a fucking joke. 4/5 of my classes are in French and about 3/4 of those profs can barely speak French so they end up doing more than half the lecture in English .. it's irritating.

OMG i know exactly where ur coming from. I'm in french at western, and it's the exact same thing. I speak and write better french then 3/4 of my profs...its awful. Most have never ever had an experience in a francophone community.

my profs should know what the fuck they're doing, though. i'm in classes with 3rd and 4th year students, it's not like i'm in a first-year, beginner French class. i'm in the specialized, advanced French shit. like classes on literature, linguistics, writing, culture, everything .. and it makes me want to kill myself. haha.

Why didn't you guys just go to a Francophone or at least properly Bilingual school.

You pay like 2 grand a year in tuition if your studying french at McGill or any other Quebec University

Hell even Ottawa U is better then entrusting your education to York University.

From the Yorkies i've met the university hasn't even gotten the english language down pat.

it's interesting and all but my prof is just .. so French.
he's the one prof i have who's HARDCORE FRENCH and
he's a douche bag when it comes to marking.

Out of province students in quebec pay much more then 2 grand tek...
and i did go to ottawa u...i had to leave for personal reasons...
