fuk being a highschool teacher...im no baby sitter, i;d throw chalk and ruler sticks and those lippy children
"My demeanor - thirty years my senior
My childhood didn't mean much, only raisin green up
Raisin' my fingers to critics; raisin' my head to the sky
No lie, just know I chose my own fate
I drove by the fork in the road and went straight"
Gym teachers make the same as the others. I'd love to be a gym teacher, they don't do much anyhow.
One of my 7th grade teachers used to make 38K. She was broke. She used to take the bus to school lmao. I had another teacher in high school who took the bus to school too. Teachers aren't eatin like that man. I mean, they make enough money to live but it's not a job you get into for the money. When I go back to my old H.S, I always talk to my teacher about that.
Both my parents are school teachers. My mom teaches elementary, and she makes $79K. My dad teaches high school and he makes 90K+ (granted, he is a department head, otherwise he'd be making 79K like my mom). And they teach in Sarnia, so their friends who teach in toronto who went to school with them are making more (higher living costs, etc). I've had this conversation with them before.

Yeah but how long have your parents been teaching for?
Of course they should be making 70 and 80K but there probably in there late 40's and 50's.
Im talking about teachers who are just starting. They start at 30-35K and move up.
Making 40K when you're in your 30's isn't that good to me. Like I said, teachers aren't eating like that. They don't make good money like that until there late in there careers and even that isn't much.
aw, all the frenchies.
i took French at York (keele), just to contiune with the language, considering I had already done 12 years .... and my Prof could not speak the language properly.
i was SO turned of it. he kept trying to tell me that it was "DE VIN" not "DU VIN". He pronounced 'UN', "URRN". that's when i stopped listening to his ass and started teaching myself.
