Now I have been layin it on the court essae and now I need advice from my fans.

I've been trying to drop a course since semester 2 started. I wasn't able to change it because everything was full so I decided to drop it. I was pretty sure I could get rid of it so I never came to class. Now since i finally got an appointment with my counsellor last week I've found out that since I have 3 courses I can't drop it because they dont allow us part-time students in a school ey. Do I have any a chance in this a coursea now, mind ya'll im in gr.12. helllllllp

um, guidance counselors are waste. my friends and i all stayed 5th years, and we weren't semestered. so you had to take a minimum 4 courses to be a full-time student. my girl took TWO, and they didn't say shit to her. the counselors at my school SUCKED. figure it out for yourself, homie.

Go see the administration, if you don't need that course in order to graduate its a simple signature from the Principal to reverse any decision by guidance.

If your school uses Oracle the system might not be able to remove the class because of database restrictions, but there is procedure for that that involves your principal contacting OUAC ( if your going to University) that will allow you to remove the mark from your transcript.

Thank you. I think my school uses the oracle program because I have all my 30 credits now so I really don't need biology to graduate or even for the courses I applied for in university. What do you mean by administration should I just go see my principal directly and is there a deadline for this.

I had a few marks changed and dropped in high school simply by asking, but the admin liked me.

If the principal doesn't know you from a hole in the ground, see the VP and let him or her work the ladder for you. Otherwise yeah, just knock on his door.

I got into the wrong crowd in gr.10-11 and was on contract last year. So I'm pretty sure he remembers me for all the wrong reasons. Would this affect his decision.

Well yes, its totally their decision. But most principals will give you a chance if you show them you've turned around.

I knew how to work the system. Used it to my advantage. Work smart not hard.
Oh and they were all female.

It's really easy to get on the good side of school admin if ur not an idiot. Don't act like a fool and they have no problems raising ur marks if it means more scholarship $$ or getting into school.
