    Rear Wheel Drive during winter

Would good quality winter tires be enough to offset the disadvantage RWD has to AWD & make a car drivable during our snowy winters? Would traction control make much of a difference?

Or is it just not a good idea regardless?

If you have RWD....i'd suggest snow tires....ive been in a car like that without snow tires and unless you know how to constantly turn yourself out of skids you should use snow tires

u should use snow tires even if u can control drifts..

360's on the highway are NOT cool man.

still tho, andy be easy on the pedal and ull be fine with snow tires. just dont gun it outta nowhere and ull maintain traction well enuff

I talked to my grandfather & he assured me it would be fine with snow tires. That's all I needed. I'm getting the IS 350.

    LSD+Snow tires = no trouble.
You should be fine with that IS350 though. The added TC is great.
