    2008 NBA Draft Sleepers

These guys will all be very solid in the NBA. I know D'antoni probably wants to kill himself for signing with the Knicks rofl but there is still some very good players on the board to help that sorry ass team. This draft is pretty deep.

OJ Mayo - He was supposed to be the #1 pick in this draft in his last year of high school. He played pretty damn good in his freshmen year and I think people are sleeping on him. He reminds me of Gilbert Arenas. Hes not as streaky though. He has a nasty J, he can slash, he's a very solid defender and he can play PG or SG.

Eric Gordon - Reminds me of Dwayne Wade with a way nicer shot. He can step out and knock down the 3 from 3-4 feet behind the line and will just bury them. I remember watching him in a game this year and seeing him just fall in love with the 3, even while hes missing. He's still young so he has to learn to not fall in love with the 3 and play aggressive by attacking the basket, something he does VERY well and dominating the game like that if his shot isnt falling. He has the ability to do it.

Danilo Gallinari - He plays in Itali and to be honest, I've only seen 2 of his games this year but from what I seen, this kid is a baller and probably one of the most underrated players in the draft. He's a guy who can play like a big guard but he'll probably be an SF in the NBA. He's a great passer, he can attack the basket and just like most european bigs, he can nail the 3. He reminds me of Peja but better. I think the Knicks should draft him.

Nicolas Batum- Another guy who plays overseas but I've been watching him for the past 2 and a half years. This kid is just nice. He could've a top 5 pick last year but he wanetd to come back and play which I think hurt him because he didn't have to. He was ready for the league. He's a guy who can play a big guard but he'll probably be an SF in the NBA. He reminds me of Grant Hill. He can attack the basket, his midrange shot is nice but could use a little work, he's very athletic and has the ability to be a lockdown defender, he can shoot the 3 but from what I seen, he doesnt do it alot and he's a very good passer.

There are a very other guys but these are my personal favorite players in the draft who I think are sleepers and will all be very good in the NBA.

Bargnani & BC's Euro love-fest has ruined all Italians and Euros for Raptors fans. There are rumours about BC wanting to move up in the draft to take Gallinari, and Raps fans are jumping all over him without really knowing anything about him as a player. I hate to say it, but I agree. It's not European players that I'm against, it's moreso the fact that I think Colangelo is biased towards them & favors them over North American players to the point that it clouds his judgement. I really don't want to see us take an international player in this year's draft, just for sanity's sake.

Mayo = the D.Wade of the 2003 draft

    Im not forgetting Kevin Love.

He's a good college basketball player but hes an undersized overweight PF in the NBAlol. He'll be an energy guy off the bench. He'll be a guy who gets garbage points and grabs a few rebounds a game. He's nothing special.

And O.J did declare. Long ago.

Kevin Love is just another Kris Humphries. Thats exactly who he reminds me of. And Kris was better than him in college.

Kevin Love will be decent but hes nothing special. You'll see.

Love can drop himself to a 150 it makes no difference. He sucks. THis is random but Roy Hibbert man I thought he'd develop his game going back. He sucks as well. I think Bayless is a sleeper.

    Love >>> Smith

i shake my head when Smith checks in

Hibbert was hyped because he had a decent yr 2 yrs ago, then the whole Ewing, Mutmbo, 'Zo and the tradition of great C's at Hoya-land.....short lived hype, but as seen with Robert Swift, if you're 7 feet tall with poential, you will be drafted

I don't know. Mayo can score we all know that but what else.

Love sucks man. Even Brian Scalbrine can shoot the three and has good bball IQ. Love ceiling if he prays day and night is a carbon copy of Troy Murphy.

Yeah, I'm gonna be a scout. Look at these dead on predictions!

LOL I fucked up on Love though. He's a lot better than I gave him credit for. He was great in college but I couldn't imagine him making the transition to being a great pro but the guy is a great rebounder and a very decent scorer around the block. He can still step back and shoot the J too. He's only getting better.
