    Yoga

I used to think it was a load of shit.. but during my boredom at 2 am.. I just tried it (Its like 99 cents on ROD). Im already athletic so I thought it would be really easy but I was very mistaken. I struggled through half the video but I actually feel like I achieved something. Has anyone else tried it?? For those who have and havent what are your thoughts on it?

yeah, it's soooo calming, and i'm flexible so i never really struggled.

Lol I love how this thread became sexual.

Anyways, Yeah the flexibility part was definately the easiest. I think the one I did had some pilates in it so it was the yoga positions mixed with the cardio/ toning stuff that really got me.

of course this thread became sexual, just take a look at all the positions in yoga.
it's a bonus with yoga, new sex positions ftw!

My family has a few serious yogis/yoginis which eventually led me to learn a few things about yoga. I did practice yoga on a regular basis couple years ago but fell out of it due to shortage of time. But I'll gradually get back into it

I got a nice book...Yoga, Yogeswar - it's a pretty helpful manula on many popular positions, asanas and mudras....
Doesn't have to be sexual...but what do you think should normally come to mind when you think of the word union?
Do it with a male friend...yoga!(silly)

girl yoga is really nice when u actually get in to it.. im looking for sum classes right now but there classes are like 75 a week so i might just buy a dvd..
and there is different types of yoga u can do too. im up for trying fire yoga its when u stay in a sauna for 40 minutes an its like 120 degrees you have to learn breathing patterns to beat the heat...
The quickest way to double your money is..... Folding it in half and putting it back in to your pocket... true story..

You should try the community centers in your area.. I dont know much about where to go in scarborough but they have classes for like 50$ a month in mississauga at the centers. Or if you get a membership, you can go to any peel center for a drop in class at like 30/month. That fire yoga sounds interesting though.. where did you hear about that?

YMCA offers yoga classes almost everyday of the week (I know the one at Bayview and Sheppard does). Check out the schedule online for a location close to you. They offer complimentary visits, so you could also try out a class before signing up.

i've done it on several occasions and enjoyed it everytime...it can be relaxing and invigorating at the same time. The first session I did I FELL ASLEEP. embarassing but it was sooo nice I felt like I was sinking into the floor.

I'm really down to do the Yoga in the heated room (or sauna). It's supposed to be very challenging and you sweat out all the toxins and lose weight. Maybe after this summer.
