I went to the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. The University of Toronto seems dead and boring.

U of T is a school all about academics and not social life, if you slip there you're kicked out

Western is suppose to be a school thats fun and full of extra-curricular activities as well as good academics...i went there for my first year...it was okay but not that great..not much culture at all

School = a mix of academics and social life

    like 90% academics
    10% social life

Sure it will be a nice 4 years, but when you graduate the academics and prestiges of your school mean more than those wonderful parties
"My demeanor - thirty years my senior
My childhood didn't mean much, only raisin green up
Raisin' my fingers to critics; raisin' my head to the sky
No lie, just know I chose my own fate
I drove by the fork in the road and went straight"

Actually plenty of U.S. schools represent both worlds. Take the University of Wisconsin Madison, USA Today Top Ten party life and High academic standards.

I never said there wasnt...but i find way to many friends who make their school choice based mostly on social life, which is a huge mistake

Agreed. Social life is definitely an important element, but the "education" part is the most important.

even if education is the most important thing i feel a canadian university won't give you the best experience...like i said before there are plenty of schools that can balance academics with social life...like western...but most canadian schools dont
